poop...enough said!
...i get home breathe in the fresh smell of a clean house, walk around the corner and open my bedroom door...it hit me like a brick wall, burned my nostrils...i could barely breathe as i attempted to journey through the room. and then i saw it...MUGS COVERED IN POOP...to clarify, not just poop but lumpy diarreah!!! so i take him outside (mostly to air out the house) then make my way back inside and brave the task of cleaning his crate. i complete the horrific task and spritz the room with febreeze and scentsy candles. mugs gets THROUGHLY bathed and blow dried! i pour a glass of ice water, sit down with my laptop...mugs was being soooooo sweet and snuggled up next to me when he begins coughing/gaging/gurgleing??? im smelling something funky like a dingleberry... then a glob spews from his mouth all over my lap...the couch...the carpet...my laptop...and the new glass end-table. as it turns out he tried to eat the poop in his crate and regurgitated it!!! lovely....

i seem to have lost my creative touch when it comes to writing...i have so many thoughts inside that i wish to express, but cant quite conjure up the words to describe them. Life has to many wonderful and suprising things to offer anyone, if they just take the time to look, and i mean really look. Every time i take a second out of my day to admire the clear blue skies and gorgeous shades of color as the sun rises and sets. Each dawn a new day, each night a rest from all the stress and conflict of life. what a wonderful and vibrant world we live in.

the simple kind of life.
Ever since ive been "on my own" and away from family, i have truly learned to enjoy the little things in life. This morning i enjoyed a chai tea latte, (fyi it was free w my rewards card which was awsome) and dug into an interesting book that my mom gave me...Atleast it was enough to get my mind of other things for a little while.

The Victorian Surrealism of Jeffrey Micheal Harp
The Hanged Man by Jeffrey Micheal Harp
"The Fool settles beneath a tree, intent on finding his spiritual self. There he stays for nine days, without eating, barely moving. People pass by him, animals, clouds, the wind, the rain, the stars, sun and moon. On the ninth day, with no conscious thought of why, he climbs a branch and dangles upside down like a child, giving up for a moment, all that he is, wants, knows or cares about. Coins fall from his pockets and as he gazes down on them - seeing them not as money but only as round bits of metal - everything suddenly changes perspective. It is as if he's hanging between the mundane world and the spiritual world, able to see both. It is a dazzling moment, dreamlike yet crystal clear. Connections he never understood before are made, mysteries are revealed. But timeless as this moment of clarity seems, he realizes that it will not last. Very soon, he must right himself, and when he does, things will be different. He will have to act on what he's learned. For now, however, he just hangs, weightless as if underwater, observing, absorbing, seeing."

RUN...ITS A CAR SALESMAN!!!!!
As a result in my little sister totaling the only family car, we resort to using my car and a car loaned to us by local friends; of whom happen to be the senator of MO and his wife. You wouldnt believe the quizzical looks we get from people when they realise its not the senator inside the car; as if we stole it or something else proposterous...But i digress...It has truly been a blessing being able to use the vehicle, and on the up side we may have found my mothers 'dream car'(so to speak, more so her dream color, blue). As it turns out it is interesting going car shopping with my family. The key is to drive through every car lot you see, but DONT get out of the car and DONT stop to speak to the sales man running after you, just drive away as fast as you can. I mean sheesh i knew these car salesmen want their sales, but i dont find it necessary to make a bee-line to every car entering the lot and chase them around. HINT: If someone doesnt bother to get out of the car and it seems they drive off every time you get in closer proximity, leave them be...they dont want to talk to you!!! Oh what a strange world we live in, where everyone gets attacked by mad car salesmen.

choices of consequence?
It is interesting how often things change, whether it be circumstances, options, people; nothing is ever easy and simple. But i guess thats the point. What would life experiences be without having to make choices; choices that dictate what your next few steps in life will be. It could be benificial or result in a detremental consequence. I of all people am not one to accept all the different sides of a situation. I see the positive and the negative, but seldom do i descide with anything but my heart. Rarely is this a good trait, and more often than not it is one that causes great problems.

A goal properly set is halfway reached.

A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar. -Mark Twain
A man who carries a cat by the tail learns something he can learn in no other way. -Mark Twain
A man's character may be learned from the adjectives which he habitually uses in conversation. -Mark Twain
A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. -Mark Twain

Feel the music.
There have been a few pieces, composers, or groups throughout my life that have just moved me. Moved my soul. Opened my mind. Touched my heart. Hopefully, you know the kind of music I mean. A song that you can hear anywhere, anytime, and from the first bars, your heart skips a beat. Like a deep breath after being underwater too long. You inhale its rhythms, its melodies, its words… and somehow all is right in your world again. It speaks to you – says everything you wish you could say and more. It is almost tangible, this feeling. You feel the music inside you. You can't help but move. You can't help but sing. For me, sometimes these experiences have been songs of praise in church. Sometimes they were a beautiful classical piece being played on the piano. Sometimes they were songs on the radio not frequently played. Sometimes they were just melodies or chords being played on a lone guitar. Music is one of life's greatest pleasures, one of our greatest gifts. Seek it out. Feel it. Sing it. Share it. Experience the bliss of a perfect melody and lyrics that speak to your soul and the feeling of completely letting go and just letting the music move your body as you dance in a world at least temporarily all your own. There's scarcely anything better.
Quotes...
Meister Eckhart -"A human being has so many skins inside, covering the depths of the heart. We know so many things, but we don't know ourselves! Why, thirty or forty skins or hides, as thick and hard as an ox's or bear's, cover the soul. Go into your own ground and learn to know yourself there."
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel -"Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion."
Martin Buber-"There are three principles in a man's being and life, the principle of thought, the principle of speech, and the principle of action. The origin of all conflict between me and my fellow-men is that I do not say what I mean and I don't do what I say."
Arthur Schopenhauer-"Boredom is just the reverse side of fascination: both depend on being outside rather than inside a situation, and one leads to the other."
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

Cry for help or just a good cry? What, really, is the difference
Did you ever feel completely and utterly alone? Invisible? Irrelevant?
Did you ever just feel like you could fall off the face of the planet and nobody would even notice for days?
Did you ever feel the visceral need for physical contact - to be held by another human being, their touch reminding you for a few moments of your own humanity, your own physical existence?
Did you ever wonder what it's all for, what it is we're all really struggling for day in and day out?
Has your pain ever been so intense that you feel it has consumed you, physically altered you, and you look in the mirror, searching for any trace of what you once believed yourself to be? Have you ever done this only to not recognize the person looking back at you?
Ever wonder how you'd make it through yet another day just like the one before it? If you'd ever be able to pick up the pieces? If it was even worth trying?
Schopenhauer once said, "It is a clear gain to sacrifice pleasure in order to avoid pain." I used to find him a tad pessimistic. Now I'm not so sure he doesn't have the right idea.
I honestly don't know why I bother writing at all anymore. Nobody's listening. Nobody hears what I'm saying. Nobody ever seems to care.
